- 2 cups Almonds
- 2 tablespoons Tamari
- 1 tablespoon Savory Seasoned Salt + more for dusting
These are our favorite almonds—and one of our very favorite snacks. They’re packed with umami from the Momofuku Tamari and our Savory Seasoned Salt. If you’re short on time, you could easily just toss almonds with savory, but adding the tamari is definitely worth it. Be sure you put them back in the oven to dry out—they’ll form a savory crust on the outside.
Heat oven to 300°F. Roast almonds for 8 minutes then flip and roast another 8 minutes or until they are golden on the inside. Turn off oven. Toss almonds with tamari (it will sizzle!) and Savory Seasoned Salt and return to the oven for about 10 minutes until they are dry.
